I was always a technology-driven child, taking apart anything I could get my hands on. One day, I found a broken computer at the junk yard. Playing around, I was able to get it working again. This fascinated me, and my enthusiasm for technology grew.
When I was a teenager, I opened my own business and provided computer repair to neighbors and friends. It became clear to me that Information Technology was the field I wanted to turn into a career.
School’s a serious investment to me. I made the greatest investment I could by enrolling for an Associate Degree at ITT Tech. The experience totally changed my life, and I graduated with Highest Honors. I then found a job as a Network Administrator and strived relentlessly to earn certifications and recognition.
Unfortunately, I found that opportunities for advancement in Buffalo didn’t exist. I learned that ITT Tech in Charlotte offered a Bachelor Degree for Information Security. With no job and only a small amount of cash, I relocated to Charlotte. I now work as a Network Engineer for a medical IT company, taking bachelor classes at night.
